RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK
Ranthambore National Park is located about 13.5 kilometers from the city of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan. Located at the junction of the Aravali and Vindhya hill ranges, this is one of the finest places to view wild animals, especially as they are used to being stared at here. The park covers an area of approximately 400 sq km, and if combined with the area of Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary area, is around 500 sq km. In the morning, pick-up from the advised location & transfer to Hazrat Nizamuddin train station in Delhi to board the train for Sawai Madhopur (07:40 Hrs), which is the nearest train station for Ranthambore National Park. Our company representative will be there for pick-up assistance from the advised location & will be with you for train boarding assistance & the till departure of the train from this station. (Half day on train board approx 5 ½ Hrs. Our priority is to provide 1 AC Coach (Top class seating arrangement) but it depends on the availability of train tickets status as well. After finishing AM safari, return to the resort for breakfast & completion of check-out formalities. At 11:45 hours, pick-up & straight transfer to Sawai Madhopur train station. Our company representative will be there for pick-up assistance & will be with you for train boarding assistance & till departure of the train from this station at 12:30 Hrs. (Half day on the train board approx 05 ½ Hrs. Our priority is to provide 01 AC Coach (Top class seating arrangement) but it depends on the availability of train tickets status as well. Forest Rules
There are 10 safari zones in Ranthambore National Park: Zones 1-10. Although the park initially had just 5 Zones, the other 5 were added as it grew in popularity. Even though it is believed that Zones 1-5 are the best for spotting tigers, Zones 6-10 also offer sufficient opportunities for tiger sighting. Among these, Zone 2, dotted with numerous water holes, is the most important zone in the park where several animals are regularly spotted, including leopards. Zone 6 Kundal is different from all the other zones, both in terms of its landscape & the opportunities for spotting birds, including the endangered Red Headed Vultures.
Canter Safari in Ranthambore National Park is conducted in a 20 seater open bus which operates in some of the safari zones.
Forest Features
Enter the Tiger Reserve with a valid ticket. Take official guide with you inside the Tiger Reserve. Drive slowly; maximum speed limit is 20 km/hr. Always carry drinking water. Maintain silence and discipline during excursions. Allow the animals to have the right of the way Wear colors which match with nature Take care of your children. Maintain safe distance from animals. Follow the instruction given by park officials. Park vehicles only in parking areas and road layoffs. Report incidences of breaking of rules, forest fires and any damage to habitat or wildlife, if any, to the park officials.

Flora and Fauna

In the popular national park of Ranthambore the terrain alternates between dry deciduous forests and open grassy meadow. There are about 539 species of flowering plants in Ranthambore National Park. T
Apart from the tiger, other big cats of the Ranthambore reserve park are Leopard, Leopard cat, Desert cat, Caracal, Fishing cat and Jungle cat. However, the park is the home to these so many big cats, but the tigers are the lords of this land and rule the region with pride. This forest also provides food and shelter to large predators like Sloth Bear, Jackal, Striped Hyena, Desert fox, Palm civet, crocodile, common mongoose, python and many others. There are few other animals which are found in abundance in these areas are the spotted deer (chital) and Sambhar deer - the two species of antlers along with the Indian Gazelle (Chinkara ) and the Bluebull (Nilgai ) - the two species of antelopes.

The visitor is required to positively report for boarding Gypsy/Canter 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time of any designated boarding point. There are no charges for Still Camera. With the effect from September 15, 2018, the advance online safari booking ticket for visitors has been opened for 365 days i.e. visitors can book tickets a year ago. Under unavoidable circumstances, the entry/ excursions can be prohibited for the allotted zone.
